Another Sock Yarn Hat and Mitts

Yarn:  Lang Jawoll Superwash sock yarn.
Pattern:  My own.
Needles:  US #3 dpns

Comments:  Just a lightweight hat and mitts. I improvised as I knit along, and this is what developed.

Playful Scarf

There's a whole lot of sock yarn in these items.  Two 100 gram balls, to be exact.

 

The scarf goes with this hat and mittens:

Yarn:  Reynolds Swizzle (I believe it's discontinued) sock yarn, color 4005.

Pattern:  Just 1x1 ribbing---boring, boring, boring.

Needles:  US #4

Comments:  I love the colors in this yarn.  That's why I bought it.  It's not clownish, is it?  I prefer the word "playful."
