Art Glass Spectacular

These were just too beautiful to leave unshared and unphotographed, even if it was with my cell phone camera.

This fabulous art is the work of Dale Chihuly, glassblower genius.
This breathtaking installation of his work can be seen in the Gonda Building at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota.

There are thirteen of these amazingly glorious, nearly out-of-control beauties.
If this had been a real good camera, there would be some closeups for your enjoyment.
A short video, blurry and choppy, with apologies:

They took my breath away...
But how in the world do they dust them?

Those are so cool! They remind me of Medusa. That's one talented glass blower.

Answer to your question: very carefully :)

Again, gorgeous!!! Main Street Magic Kingdom in Disney has a glass shop that has some gorgeous things, but nothing that big.

I had never registered Dale Chihuly until Teen and I went to the Glass Museum last Fall. I'll have to let him know about the installation.
