Hederas--With Shoes

As promised, only not in high heels, the Hederas in their new life:Of course, I hiked up the pant legs to show you how the socks fit. Although high water pants may be back in style (it's the Geek influence), these are not those.
This is a really nice pattern. But I may be too impatient to knit lace.
Are there impatient lace patterns out there?

They came out great!! :o)

I always stay away from lace patterns b/c they seem too loose on me or get twist to them.

Glad you are enjoying yours!!

They look very nice with your shoes! I don't mind lace socks (most of the time) but lace shawls are not for me.

They turned out very nicely! : ) I never used to like lace socks, but that was when they were store bought. Once I wore my first handknit pair tailored to fit, I was hooked!

I never thought about being impatient to knit lace, but I'm intimidated about the possibility of making a mistake and not recognizing it, or how to fix it. The Feb Lady Swtr was OK as it was only a 4 row repeat. I handled that just fine.

Your socks & shoes are awesome. Truth be told, I thought you actually had highwaters :) Glad you clarified that...

I think they look great! I'm mostly in love with your shoes, though.

They look well worth the effort, and a gorgeous colour. Something like Sockbug's River Rapids pattern knits up quickly, because it's only a little bit lace.
