The Red Socks

The Twizzler inspired socks are moving right along.
I had decided that my current sock yarn purchases would be solid or nearly solid colors. But that little pink/gray Regia yarn slipped under my radar. It looked so "fifties" and it just sock-hopped into my basket.

And look what I found at The Yarnery: A softly shiny pewter shawl pin. I'm off to my Monday routine--clothes washing!

Red socks - my favorite but I like the Regia too. The shawl pin is gorgeous.

Kay- Is the lovely shawl pin on your blanket cardigan? Will we be seeing pictures of your finished sweater? Will the red socks be finished for Valentine's Day? Such fun to knit socks inspired by your favorite candy!

Your twizzler socks are looking great! I agree with you, that pink/gray yarn has a nice look to it.

Your word verification has an odd sense of humor, as my word is "dying"

That pin is lovely. I've not been to the Yarnery, I may have to do some research on how to get my body over there.

I like the simple "twizzle" in the red socks - very nice pattern.
I've been to The Yarnery when I visited my sister in St. Paul last summer. I hope to get back there again. Of course, yarn & etc. jumped into my basket when I left also :)

Love the Twizzlers! The newest Patternworks catalog has quite a few shawl closures that caught my eye. Your pewter one is very pretty.
