Slowing Down

Saturday was a lovely day for a drive. Temps were at least 50 degrees Fahrenheit and we drove over to Three Kittens in St. Paul. (Check out their web site and blog.) You know what happens when sock knitters get into a yarn shop. More Sox Appeal yarn--I really like its stretchiness!
Here is the sock I am now knitting. It will be finished soon, with photos and details. The blending of colors in this yarn is really gorgeous. These are intended to replace the second pair of socks I knit (some fondness there) which were a burgundy color and were left in a hotel room last fall. Hope whoever found them used them to keep their feet toasty!
Today's spring weather is supposed to bring us up to eight inches of what the paper called "heart attack snow", meaning wet and heavy. That's Minnesota, folks!
