We Need a Rainbow

You might have heard about the 35W bridge here in Minneapolis that collapsed last night. Such a shocking and sad catastrophe. Our family is okay, but my thoughts and prayers are with those who were affected personally by this tragedy.

At least this sock is a rainbow!

The colors are really pleasing me, and are a bright spot in my life. I truly don't know what I would do without knitting to soothe the pains of life.

I am so happy to hear that your family is safe. What a tragedy! My heart also hurts for all those affected by this event.

I agree that knitting is a great soothing effect. I used to knit for the stress relief, when I was still working. Now that I am retired, I just knit for the sheer enjoyment of it.

Very glad to read that your family is safe.
Within the time after the castatrophe it was demonstrated the strength and caring of the community in the metro area, and wonderfully to see the caring and concerned folks on the internet and around the world via the television/radio broadcasts. This demonstration will hopefully help heal the wounds that have been inflicted by this tragedy.
I agree, knitting is very beneficial in adding release from stress and sorrow.
Your rainbow socks rock!
