End of Summer
When I put together this arrangment in the spring, the colors seemed so lovely with the backdrop of yard and Colonial Red house. The arrangement was small and compact, and the spiky maroon plant in the center was tall and proud.
Now you can barely see the spikes. Funny, it occurred to me that might happen, given the full growth stated on the label. But since I am not a gardener (as much as I would really like to be) I ignored the labels, figuring it wouldn't probably grow as much as possible, with my care at hand.
It's now pressed down and overflowing. I like those words. And the arrangement still pleases me.
