Here comes the second pair of socks! They really are a dark burgundy, but I had to give them lots of light in order for them to not look black in the photo. Hand knitted socks just feel so good on your feet. A knitter who worked in a yarn shop told me that socks should be "dense." So that they will wear well?
Also, buying a couple skeins of yarn for a pair of socks usually won't blitz your checking account. Sock yarn doesn't count as part of your stash. Yeah!
